check out the article....there's at least some reasoning behind this besides the motion controls...
wll, in a year from now Sony could charge $199 for the PS3....not to mention the gadget they want in all households....
$299
maybe they just aren't very good at giving presentations....because they seemed as if they never even picked that thing up before...
Microsoft doesn't make their own consoles like Sony and Nintendo...
they have to get another company to manufacture it for them...
so doing this would be pretty much out of their hands...
did you even read the article?...
i'll answer that....NO....
gamers are illiterate?....I hope not...but I'm seeing a heavy dose of illiterateness in reading these responses...
have you actually read the article?...the article states why they aren't screwing over the fanbase..
the people who say Sony is screwing the fanbase are people who want BC for their newer PS3 and the people who don't own a PS3 and want to spread FUD...
Wii can't offer these games in 720p....
actually...the last gen games can only offer additions, the Wii versions wouldn't look much better...if at all..
that's not to say they can't change a few things and add motion control support...but Sony is doing something that the other consoles can't do and the article goes over exactly that...
the only other people who are mad are the people who don't want to buy the game again and just want their PS3 to be BC so they can plug their older game in and play it...
personally....I want the upgrade....I was one of the people who punched in the 720p upscale code for God of War II ahaha....
bring the upgrades on!
exactly...this article shows these "gamers" the error of their ways...
and exactly why the PS3 is making strides in areas that the 360 and Wii can't...
you obviously haven't been reading what 360 fans have been saying....
some people need to complain about an article glorifying good stuff...because they like complaining..
exactly, but some people feel as if they are milking the fanbase by re-releasing games...
but these aren't just re-releases, these are definite upgrades...
^^yeah, they definitely spend too much time swapping things in and out their ass....
true story..
I would expect Halo for the Natal to be a launch title for the 360 if it were possible...
if not, Microsoft will probably target 2010 holidays...
I think those two games are the tip of the iceburgh...you'll be seeing more advancements in the entertainment aspect even in this generation...
hopefully gameplay will see some innovation as well..
I'm all about where gaming is headed and it seems we'll be able tomanipulate our characters in new and innovative ways...
I just hope that the gameplay itself isn't sacrificed for realism or motion control gimmicks...
the thing to do is present motion controls in a way that it is not looked at as a gimmick...which is very hard to do..
...no it's not...
you can't be serious..
I'm wondering how that bullshit article that is being passed as a duplicate story in comparison to this one (read the actual article posted here) and has been approved and has 70 degrees?...
what a joke...
I'm going to throw out a big "who cares" to what Obama said about the XBOX 360...
he has bigger problems on his plate to be "dissing" a videogame console...
Last Guardian is most likely 2011...
it'll be expected 4Q 2010, and then around late summer...."2Q 2011"...
even then, the 2010 gaming lineup is already going to packed as is..
who says the new Eye Camera would need to come out in six months?..
Sears doesn't have it for "cheap"...they have it on clearance..
there is a difference...because clearance means they are not carrying that particular item anymore like they did with the Sixaxis only controller..
